Sister's Wedding Shower
On the 18th, my sister had her wedding shower. It had a beach theme (where she originally wanted to have her wedding). Lots of family and a few friends were able to join us in Conroe. She got a lot of kitchen stuff that will help her start her new married life!
I had fun making an island (pineapple upside-down) cake that turned out neat. A few people asked for a picture of how it turned out, so here goes: (Yes, that's berry blue jello.)

You might think I'm just saying this because I'm Kathryn's husband, but her cakes are SPEK-takular. This one is no exception - I thought it was great and I'm not especially a fan of pineapples. Oh, and the blue jello looked really neat after a while in the fridge... the waves had whitecaps...
Wow! That turned out great, Kathryn. The pineapple upside down cake was a great idea to go along with the whole tropical beach theme, too! How fun.
